Former Mexican President Vicente Fox has a way with a people. Not a good way really, just a way. He doesn’t like it when the peasants, I mean voters, get uppity. Fox, the Harvard educated, grandson of Joseph Fuchs (changed to Fox), a German immigrant to Cinncinati, called American supporters of Donald Trump lazy, TV watching, drunks. This comes just days after he apologized to Donald Trump for calling him an ignorant, egocentric, nasty, false prophet.
Either Fox can’t control his tongue or he his heart wasn’t really in the apology. And now he owes millions of Americans an apology too. Of course, this is catnip to the American Left and the #NeverTrump Right who ought to defend the honor of their countrymen. They won’t, of course, but it’s just that type of behavior that makes Trump more popular.
It’s worth noting that Fox took time to insult American voters after meeting with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi to plot how he could help her and the Democrats defeat Donald Trump. We’re sure they had a lot in common, not least of which is their disdain for ordinary Americans. Fox said, “What I’ve been saying here, I told her. Count with us, with all Mexicans, to support the Democratic Party because you’ve done much better with us than the Republican Party.”
Remember this the next time you wonder where the Democrats’ allegiances lie: A foreign leader collaborating with American politicians to influence our Presidential election.
Vicente Fox Insults American Voters
The former President of Mexico and current uninvited interloper in American politics Vicente Fox had this to say about Trump supporters:
“We need to wake up that citizen. We need them to take them away from the TV and drinking beer, to working hard, to getting the skills, to getting knowledge, and they will come along, like everybody else.”
Every time Fox opens his mouth is probably worth a 1% increase in polls for Trump. Keep talking Mr. Fuchs.
