A group of mostly young, female journalists have signed a letter demanding that Donald Trump fire his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, over unproven claims by another reporter, Michelle Fields, that he assaulted her when he walked past her in a crowd. 14 of the 16 signers are outspoken Cruz supporters and have signed on with the #NeverTrump movement that inexplicably seems to prefer Hillary to Trump.
Greta Van Sustern, who was an accomplished lawyer before joining Fox, was having none of it. She put the roast on the women who signed this letter in a way they will not soon forget. Among other things, the surveillance video does not seem to show anything. And Lewandowski has not had the benefit of a trial. If the video showed something that the average person could see as being aggressive or violent, he’d be gone. But it’s just not there. The video is below so you can see for yourself. Here’s their letter.
Greta Roasts Cruz Supporters
Greta was having none of the self-righteous indignation. And she called out the signers for being politically motivated, rather than having any concern for the truth or for justice. She said,
“Two things. One, Lewandowski hasn’t even had a trial and they’re calling for his head. Yes, they’ve tried and convicted him. And, second, each of these women has now shot herself in the foot. How can any one of them continue to cover the presidential race by not waiting for the DA’s decision to try the case or not, or waiting for a jury verdict but instead by taking sides in such a public way.”
Want to see the video of the incident where Corey Lewandowski brushed passed Michelle Fields as Donald Trump left the Republican debate in Miami? Here it is. Judge for yourself. Should Corey be fired for this?
